The Universidad de Santa Anita is a private entity and it has close links with the private business sector. Graduates of USA are educated for both domestic and international companies. The Universidad de Santa Anita is one of the best technical universities in Venezuela, thanks to the quality of its teaching and the research it carries out. The Universidad de Santa Anita has an excellent curriculum design that is structured on two main types of semesters: Basic Semester and Training Semester. The basic semester is the first year of study at the university where the student takes the core subjects for later professional training, as well as those of a general nature that are common to all careers. Its main objectives are: to develop in students the academic attitudes necessary to ensure effective adaptation to the University by developing an attitude consonant with the educational level that initiates and leverages their expertise in those areas on which development is based on the scientific career chosen. The professional semester is where the student receives the necessary scientific and technical instruction for the proper exercise of a particular profession, while a humanistic education obtained through the General Studies, a fact that provides comprehensive education, providing resources and necessary in order to participate actively in the study and resolution of multiple scientific, technical, social, economic and political which will face in their future practice. This Professional Series at the Universidad de Santa Anita consists mainly of three areas: a. Basic Studies Career b. Professional Studies c. General Studies Basic Studies Career's essential aim is to teach the fundamental knowledge underlying the different areas that compose it. Professional Studies constitute the set of expertise and the materials typical of each branch of professional knowledge. General Studies are aimed at the integral formation of students by linking them to the different fields of the sciences and humanities in search of a personal training and professional training to reality. These studies were coursing throughout the race. The organization of the curriculum is based on the system of units or credits. Each course carries a value in units according to the number of hours of dedication required. Thus, it is assigned one unit for each hour per week of classroom theory or class, or for every two or three hours of laboratory or other similar activities developed in each period at the Universidad de Santa Anita. |

The University of Santa Anita was founded in Caracas Venezuela in the late 90's and later integrated into the University of Santa Rita. In 2010, the University was nationalized by the Government of Venezuela for "purely political" reasons according to a report from Inside Higher Education.
